NEW YORK — Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York's Explorer Post 601 visited St. John's University to learn about their criminal justice and homeland security programs.
The Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Explorer Post 601 recently visited St. John’s University to explore its highly regarded criminal justice and homeland security programs. During the visit, the Explorers toured the campus and engaged with professors who provided classroom and hands-on insights into key topics such as Stop & Frisk policies, Crime Scene Investigation, Critical Infrastructure and Counterterrorism, and Forensic Psychology. The experience highlighted the importance of academic preparation in tackling modern challenges in law enforcement and national security.
HSI New York's Explorer Post 601 is a youth program dedicated to introduce youths to potential careers in federal law enforcement. Through this program, participants gain hands-on training, develop leadership skills, and engage in various community service activities, fostering personal and professional growth.
