HSI Post 601 Hosts Successful Open House with Historic Turnout

NEW YORK — Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York's Explorer Post 601 welcomed 40 recruits and parents at the FY 2025 Open House.

The Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Explorer Post 601 recently hosted a highly successful Open House, attracting a historic turnout of 40 recruits and parents—one of the largest in the program’s history. This event provided an invaluable opportunity for young men and women to engage with the Post, observe drills and competitive scenarios, and explore various career paths in federal law enforcement that align with the mission of HSI's Explorer Program. The program's growth underscores its commitment to inspiring and training the next generation of law enforcement professionals. We extend our gratitude to Deputy Special Agent in Charge (DSAC) Kevin O'Malley and Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Celestino Martinez for their attendance and support.

HSI New York's Explorer Post 601 is a youth program dedicated to introduce youths to potential careers in federal law enforcement. Through this program, participants gain hands-on training, develop leadership skills, and engage in various community service activities, fostering personal and professional growth.
