NEW YORK — Congratulations to HSI Explorer Post 601 Competition Detail, who placed 1st in Traffic Stop at the 2025 Law Enforcement Exploring Winter Competition!
On February 22nd, members of the HSI Explorer Post 601 competition detail proudly represented our Post at the 2025 Law Enforcement Exploring Winter Competition at South Shore High School. Competing against agencies including U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the New York City Police Department (NYPD), the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department (MTAPD), and the Nassau County Police Department (NCPD), our team demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism.
Our detail earned 1st place in the Traffic Stop scenario with a perfect score, a testament to their dedication and training.
This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable guidance of HSI special agents, task force officers, and former Explorers who devoted their time and expertise to preparing our team. As we continue training for upcoming competitions, our Explorers remain committed to excellence and proudly representing the HSI New York family.
